Makro is a retail chain. Its main communication channel is the promotional flyer. You wouldn’t exactly expect it to come across as youthful, fresh, and bold. But its mission is to back young talent and Czech gastronomy.

That’s how the unique photo series Hope of the Czech gastro scene was born, shot in a style that would feel more at home in lifestyle magazines. The visuals radiate enthusiasm, passion, individuality, and creativity. The whole series was created authentically across the country and appeared online and as a booklet.
