Celebrating Czech Heritage and 150 Years of Smíchov Beer
Whether it's sports, work, or the weather, we know how to savor everything beautifully. In our own way, with a dash of typical grumbling. But where we truly shine is when it comes to beer. That's exactly what we wanted to capture in our new spot for Staropramen 12 with its fuller, balanced flavor. No phony ads where everyone's smiling, clinking glasses frantically, and perpetually cheerful.
We wanted to tread the line of our typical Czech sarcasm and humor. Actor Hynek Čermák perfectly captured this vibe and once again became the central figure of the entire advertisement. Hynek isn't just a guide; he actively delivers punchlines to individual sketches and adds to the campaign's humor with his talent. This campaign was created in collaboration with Bistro Films, directed by Jakub Švejkar, who ensured the spot exudes perspective and ease.
The spot follows up on the successful Christmas campaign, which kicked off a new era of communication strategy "our way". In this vein, we aim to bring Staropramen closer to consumers and their real lives. That's why we draw inspiration from life truths and the typical Czech character.
For the improved recipe of the Nova 12, beyond the television spot, we also created videos for social media, prints, and OOH for both the product and image parts.
